Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Final Cut Camera at none against MoviePro's 4. Final Cut Camera also leads on chart position (#153 vs unranked). MoviePro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (64% vs 49%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoviePro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Final Cut Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.
Final Cut Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.8K and 3.7K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of MoviePro's written reviews are positive against 49% of Final Cut Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MoviePro ships an update every 2 weeks, Final Cut Camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
