About

Watch Codex

Features

View Codex usage on iPhone, Apple Watch and widgets. Check remaining limits, next reset times, extra usage balance and stored reset credits. Limit rings adapt to the five-hour or seven-day windows actually returned for the account, with segmented rings for the hours or days remaining. Sign in on iPhone and fetch usage directly without a Mac or server. While open, the app refreshes about every 30 seconds. In the background it requests an update no earlier than 15 minutes later, then syncs a successful update to widgets and the watch. iOS chooses the actual background time based on power, network and usage, so real-time updates are not guaranteed. Supports Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. Requires an OpenAI account with Codex access and an internet connection. Available fields depend on the account and service. The app does not redeem resets or purchase credits. It is an independent utility, not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. Add Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, or circular, corner, rectangular and inline Apple Watch complications, to see remaining usage and reset timing. The iPhone app, widgets, Apple Watch app and watch-face complications are available without an in-app purchase. The free iPhone app displays banner and app-open advertisements. A single optional non-consumable purchase permanently removes advertisements from the iPhone app. It does not unlock ChatGPT, usage data, credits, widgets, Apple Watch features or complications. No subscription.
