Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: SnapLot at fortnightly against RPM NMAC/IFS's every 8 months. SnapLot also leads on rating (1.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (201 vs 3). RPM NMAC/IFS's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 4%) and iOS requirement (12.3 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SnapLot holds the better App Store score, 1.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapLot has 201 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of RPM NMAC/IFS's written reviews are positive against 4% of SnapLot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RPM NMAC/IFS ships an update every 8 months, SnapLot fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
