Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Jawwal at fortnightly against Provision Cam 2's every 5 months. Jawwal also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 51). Provision Cam 2's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Jawwal holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jawwal has 2.2K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Jawwal's written reviews are positive against 24% of Provision Cam 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Jawwal ships an update fortnightly, Provision Cam 2 every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
