Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: SPOT Global Print at 100% against Twistle's 28%. Twistle's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 17 months) and rating (2.7 vs 2.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Twistle holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twistle has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Twistle's written reviews are positive against 100% of SPOT Global Print's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Twistle ships an update monthly, SPOT Global Print every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
