Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: CWC App at 100% against Church App's 52%. CWC App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Church App's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (993 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
