Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Woot at 4.8 against BrickSeek's 1.3. Woot also leads on ratings volume (96K vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Woot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.3. Woot ships an update every 6 weeks, BrickSeek every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
