Verdict
Woot and The Freebie Guy both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of The Freebie Guy's written reviews are positive against 28% of Woot's. The Freebie Guy also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Woot's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (96K vs 42). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Woot against 4.9 for The Freebie Guy.
