My Passwords keeps your passwords and other sensitive data encrypted on your device, before it ever leaves it. Only your master password can open it: not even we can read it. END-TO-END ENCRYPTION • Your data is encrypted on your phone with modern algorithms (Argon2id and XChaCha20‑Poly1305). • Your master password never leaves the device and is not stored on any server. • Synced with your account, but only encrypted text is kept in the cloud. 10 ITEM TYPES • Passwords and websites (with their address). • Email: incoming server (IMAP, POP3, Exchange) and outgoing SMTP server, ports and security. • Wi‑Fi, servers, databases, API keys and licenses. • Cards and secure notes. Each type stores exactly the fields it needs, with buttons to copy and to show or hide secrets. GENERATOR AND SECURITY • Random password generator, up to 64 characters. • A security score that spots weak or reused passwords, calculated on your device. CONVENIENCE • Unlock with Face ID or fingerprint. • Auto-lock when you leave the app and screenshot blocking. • Search and filters by type. • Available in Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Russian and Chinese. NO ADS. IMPORTANT Because only you hold the key, nobody can recover your master password. When you start, we show you a recovery key: keep it somewhere safe, it is the only way back in if you forget it. Coming from the previous version of My Passwords? When you open the app we will guide you to move your passwords to the new encryption.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Password Manager' at 4.4 against MyPasswords Password Manager's 3.3. Password Manager' also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 7). MyPasswords Password Manager's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager' sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MyPasswords Password Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.
Password Manager' holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager' has 17K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MyPasswords Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 48% of Password Manager''s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MyPasswords Password Manager ships an update every 10 months, Password Manager' every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
