Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: KIX 96 at 100% against GetOut's 44%. KIX 96 also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). GetOut's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
KIX 96 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetOut has 1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of KIX 96's written reviews are positive against 44% of GetOut's.
KIX 96 ships an update every 18 months, GetOut every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
