Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: WikEM at Free against QuickEM's $9.99. WikEM also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 10). QuickEM's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 54%) and chart position (#60 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

WikEM is free to download; QuickEM costs $9.99 up front. WikEM sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and QuickEM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

WikEM holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WikEM has 4.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of WikEM's written reviews are positive against 91% of QuickEM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

WikEM ships an update every 5 days, QuickEM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
