Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: FLEXHOTEL at 100% against Interrail Rail Planner's 24%. FLEXHOTEL also leads on rating (4.3 vs 2.7) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Interrail Rail Planner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
