Print documents and photos from your iPhone or iPad on your own printer. No account. Test prints are free. Printing your own documents and photos needs a subscription. WILL IT WORK WITH MY PRINTER? This app works with printers that support AirPrint (Apple's way of printing from iPhone and iPad). Your printer and your iPhone or iPad just need to be on the same Wi-Fi. A new printer must first be set up on your Wi-Fi with its maker's instructions. Not sure? Try it first: tap "Print a Free Test Page". If a page comes out, you're ready. PRINT A DOCUMENT IN 3 STEPS 1. Tap "Print a Document" and pick a PDF or a text file from Files. 2. See every page on the screen before you print. 3. Tap Print, choose your printer, then tap Print again. Your pages print as they are. If a page is bigger than your paper, you choose: shrink it to fit, or keep its actual size (the edges are cut off). PRINT PHOTOS IN 4 STEPS 1. Tap "Print Photos" and pick one or more photos. 2. Choose a size: 4x6, 5x7, 3.5x5 or 2x3 inches, wallet, 10x15 cm, or your own size. 3. Choose how many copies and the paper in your printer: Letter, A4 or 4x6 photo paper. 4. Tap Print. The first time, choose your printer. Each photo is sent to your printer at the size you chose. When they fit, several photos go on one sheet to save paper. Want a different crop? Move or zoom each photo. The dimmed parts won't print. Not sure about the size? Tap "Print a Free Test Photo" first. PRINT A FILE FROM MAIL OR ANOTHER APP Open the PDF or photo, tap Share (the square with an arrow), then tap Printer. That is this app's name on your Home Screen. Not in the list? Tap Save to Files, then open this app and tap "Print a Document". NOTHING CAME OUT? Tap "Nothing came out?" after you print, or "Printer Help" on the first screen of this app. It walks you through quick checks: Is the printer on? Is your iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi? Is there paper and ink? Is the paper stuck? UNLIMITED PRINTING Test pages and test photos are free for everyone. To print your own documents and photos, subscribe to Unlimited Printing: weekly, monthly or yearly. When you tap Print, the app first checks that it can reach your printer. Only then does it show the plans and their prices. "Your Plan", on the first screen of this app, shows your plan, the date it renews and how to cancel. Paid once for Unlimited Printing in an earlier version? It still works. If Your Plan says "Not subscribed", tap "Restore Purchases" there. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS - Unlimited Printing: print as many of your own documents and photos as you like. - Length: 1 week, 1 month or 1 year. The price is shown in the app before you buy. - New subscribers who are eligible get a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends, or when you confirm your purchase if there is no trial. - The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. - To manage or cancel, tap "Cancel or Change Plan" in Your Plan, or open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Works on iPhone with iOS 26 or later and on iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. Supports Dark Mode and larger text. No ads. No tracking. Made by FuturaApp, Inc. ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

iPrint Printer for AirPrint holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPrint Printer for AirPrint has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of OpenText iPrint's written reviews are positive against 12% of iPrint Printer for AirPrint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

OpenText iPrint ships an update every 3 months, iPrint Printer for AirPrint every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
