About

NC500

Features

Scotland's most legendary road trip deserves the boldest app on your phone. NC500 is your all-in-one companion for the North Coast 500 — built specifically for motorhome and campervan travellers who want to spend less time planning and more time soaking up those jaw-dropping Highland views. It's chunky, fun and built entirely for life on the road. THE ROUTE, YOUR WAY Explore the full NC500 loop with an interactive Apple Maps planner featuring 15 numbered stops and one-tap directions to wherever you're headed next. Whether you're thundering up the east coast or crawling over the infamous Bealach na Bà, the route is always right there. A dedicated driving guide covers the tricky bits — single-track etiquette, height warnings and road alerts included. CAMPSITES THAT ACTUALLY GET IT No more squinting at symbols that don't tell you what you need to know. NC500 surfaces motorhome and campervan-friendly sites with dog-friendly badges front and centre. Because where Fido sleeps matters just as much as where you park the van. FUEL, FOOD AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN The built-in shops and fuel card covers LPG stops, ATMs, 24/7 pumps and curated restaurants and cafés all along the loop. Running low on gas somewhere north of Ullapool? We've got you. PLAN IT, LIVE IT, REMEMBER IT Build your itinerary in My Trip with driving distances and journey times baked right in. Then capture every wild beach, warm pub and ridiculous sunset in the travel journal with photos and notes that save across every launch. HIGHLAND WEATHER, DONE RIGHT Get a 7-day Highland forecast, daylight hours, midge alerts and offline widgets — so you know whether to chase the sunset or stay in the van with a brew. No nasty surprises. Well, fewer of them. NC500 was built for the road, not the boardroom. Download it, load up the van and go make some memories. Scotland's waiting.
