Duck Shooter
Read full descriptionHide full description
Duck Shooter puts a lotus pond on your table and sends the ducks up over it. Point your phone at a table, tap once, and the island lands there — bamboo, reeds, water, the lot. The dog goes in, the ducks come up, and the phone becomes the gun: the mark sits in the middle of the screen, so you aim by moving, not by dragging a stick with your thumb. A round is sixty seconds. You carry three shells, reload in under a second, and have three lives to lose. WALK AROUND THE TABLE The bamboo really is in the way. A duck behind a stalk cannot be hit, so you stand up, take a step, and find the line. The room is the joystick. THE GOLD DUCK Gold pays no points at all. It hands back a life you lost — worth a shell, if you can catch it. PLAY TOGETHER AT ONE TABLE Everyone at the same table sees the same island, in the same place, from their own side of it, and scores land as you shoot. It runs over local Wi-Fi. No account, nothing to sign up for. NO ACCOUNTS, NO TIMERS Hits, accuracy and your personal best stay on your phone. Post a solo score to the world board if you want a rank, or don't. A round takes a minute — it is a game for the gap before dinner. ENGLISH AND VIETNAMESE Every screen is written in both. Requires an iPhone or iPad with ARKit support and a flat surface to play on. Free, with an ad between rounds. One purchase removes them for good — a single payment, not a subscription. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Sidius Nova at none against Duck Shooter's shown. Sidius Nova also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Duck Shooter's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
