Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Finger Timer at none against CUBER's 1. Finger Timer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (345 vs 12). CUBER's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 16 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CUBER sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Finger Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Finger Timer against 4.2 for CUBER.
