Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SnapBridge at 4.4 against Smart Trigger's 1.0. SnapBridge also leads on ratings volume (64K vs 1) and chart position (#176 vs unranked). Smart Trigger's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (29% vs 21%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SnapBridge holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapBridge has 64K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Smart Trigger's written reviews are positive against 21% of SnapBridge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Smart Trigger ships an update every 6 weeks, SnapBridge every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
