Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: NREMT at 4.7 against LC's 3.7. NREMT also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 43 months) and ratings volume (8K vs 41). LC's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NREMT holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NREMT has 8K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of LC's written reviews are positive against 37% of NREMT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

LC ships an update every 43 months, NREMT every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
