Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: OpenGov at 3.7 against Veoci's 2.6. OpenGov also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
OpenGov holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Veoci has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Veoci's written reviews are positive against 0% of OpenGov's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Veoci ships an update every 2 weeks, OpenGov monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
