Consistent is an app which facilitates behavior change to get you in shape, develop dietary intuition, and holistically track your fitness. You can lose weight or build muscle by following a specific diet or exercise routine. However, if you don’t stick with those behaviors, it’s only a matter of time before you regress. We believe fitness is a journey and a lifestyle. There is no one-size fits all solution. Some folks thrive on low carb diets, some prefer low-fat. Some folks enjoy lifting in the gym or going on runs for exercise, others prefer group classes or sports. Part of the fitness journey is discovering works for you. Instead of recommending specific diets or exercise, we focus on changing your relationship with fitness through five behaviors. To learn more about our philosophy visit our website at www.consistent.fit --- HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION We integrate with Apple Health, so if you use a smart scale or save your weight in a different app, we'll be able to sync with it. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RepCount at none against Consistent's shown. RepCount also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 3). Consistent's advantage is iOS requirement (14.5 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. RepCount sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Consistent sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RepCount against 5.0 for Consistent. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RepCount has 13K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of RepCount's written reviews are positive against 100% of Consistent's.
