Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brewing Heritage Trail at 100% against UC Mobile's 43%. Brewing Heritage Trail also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). UC Mobile's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
UC Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brewing Heritage Trail has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of UC Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of Brewing Heritage Trail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
UC Mobile ships an update every 12 months, Brewing Heritage Trail every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
