PracticePal helps parents support more consistent homework and practice sessions—without standing over their child the entire time. Place the iPhone on a stable stand facing the student, choose a child profile, and start a timed session. Focus Guardian uses the camera to check whether the student remains visible. If the student leaves, the app records the interruption and can provide a voice reminder. When the student returns, the session continues tracking focused time. FOR PARENTS • Create separate, color-coded profiles for each child • Set session goals and optional planned breaks • Track focused time and completed sessions • See how often the student left during a session • Review progress and session history by child • Use gentle voice reminders for away and returned events PRIVACY-MINDED CAMERA USE Focus Guardian is designed to analyze camera input on the device for presence detection. It is not a hidden surveillance tool. Parents must place the device openly, explain its use to the child, and provide appropriate supervision. Camera access is optional and requested when Focus Guardian starts. PracticePal is a support tool, not a guarantee of attention, academic performance, behavior, or safety. Presence detection may be affected by lighting, camera placement, movement, or device conditions. SUBSCRIPTION PracticePal Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. A 7-day free trial may be available to eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation or when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Apple Account settings. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are available in the app and on our website.
