Do you like to make dough? Have you ever needed to convert a Baker's Percentage into ingredient masses when making dough? Have you been looking on the App Store for something like this for a while? Then you’re like me, and this is the tool for you! Pizza and bread dough recipes can use Baker's Percentages. Baker's Percentages are used to make more consistent recipes by specifying the ratios of the ingredient masses. One cup of sifted flour does not weigh the same as one cup of unsifted flour. But 100g of flour will always be 100g of flour. Baker's Percentages are also easy to scale to different dough ball sizes. With this app you can include up to 8 ingredients in your recipes. You can also save your favorite recipes for future reference. The ingredients list is customizable so you can add detail about your ingredients. For example, if your recipe calls for Instant Dry Yeast instead of Active Dry Yeast then you can include that. Additionally, if you know the masses of your ingredients, you can also use this tool to convert your recipe into Baker's Percentages for easy scaling to different sizes. You can also add notes for reference that will be saved with each recipe. Supports ounces and grams.

About

Proof

Features

Proof is a simple, honest dough calculator for pizza and bread — made by a home baker who wanted one tool that does the math, keeps the timers, and stays out of the way. There are no ads, no accounts, no tracking, and no subscription. Everything you make stays on your phone. If Proof helps you bake better, that's the whole point. CALCULATE YOUR DOUGH Set your ball count, ball weight, hydration, salt and yeast type. Proof works out exact gram weights for every ingredient, scaled to your batch. Grams or ounces, Fahrenheit or Celsius, inches or centimeters — switch anytime. TIMERS ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN Start a fermentation timer and walk away. Proof shows a live countdown right on your Lock Screen, so you always know when your dough is ready without unlocking your phone. HANDS-FREE INGREDIENTS AND METHOD Tap the totals bar for a large-type ingredient list and a step-by-step method built for a floury countertop. Check off each step as you go, and start a timer for any rest, mix or ferment straight from the instructions. Your running timer stays visible the whole time. SMART FERMENTATION SCHEDULING Dial in your bulk ferment, cold ferment and final proof by hours and temperature — kitchen or fridge — and Proof sizes the yeast for your schedule automatically. 13 BUILT-IN RECIPES From Neapolitan and New York style to sourdough and enriched doughs: a library of tested recipes you can load straight into the calculator with Select to Bake. Every step reads in your units. RUN MULTIPLE TIMERS AT ONCE The Schedule tab tracks every timer you've started, so a bulk ferment and a rest can run side by side without losing track. PROOF PRO — ONE PURCHASE, YOURS FOR GOOD Most of Proof is free. If you want more, Pro is a single one-time purchase (no subscription, ever): • Recipe Vault — save, edit and back up your own recipes to a file you control • Protein and additives — vital wheat gluten, diastatic malt and ascorbic acid, with automatic hydration compensation • Nutrition per ball — calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber for every batch • Share any recipe as text A NOTE FROM THE BAKER WHO MADE THIS I built Proof because I wanted a calculator I could trust and a timer I wouldn't forget about. It's a small, independent app and I'd genuinely like to hear what would make it better — a recipe you'd add, a unit you're missing, anything that got in your way. The support link below reaches me directly. Thanks for baking with it.
