Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MediCode at 75% against CPR Helper's 10%. MediCode also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 1). CPR Helper's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CPR Helper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MediCode has 4.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of MediCode's written reviews are positive against 10% of CPR Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MediCode ships an update every 3 weeks, CPR Helper every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
