This app can download and display all the eBook editions of the Springer Graduate Text 173, Graph Theory, by Reinhard Diestel. The book is currently available in English, German, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. On iPhones, all books can be downloaded for free. On iPads, the purchase of any edition in a given language entitles you to free downloads of all other editions - past, present and future - in that language. Each eBook comes in high-quality searchable PDF; the same that was used to produce the corresponding print edition. The cross-references in the text and in the margins of the English and the German editions are active links: click on the "3.1" in a reference to Lemma 3.1 to be taken to that lemma. The eBook itself is read-only. There is a "Pro" upgrade available from within each book that allows for the usual PDF annotations, including resizable pencil comments. A Professional edition of the book, which can be annotated and printed, is available from the author's website for the book; see http://diestel-graph-theory.com/professional.html Publisher's blurb: This standard textbook of modern graph theory combines the authority of a classic with the engaging freshness of style that is the hallmark of active mathematics. It covers the core material of the subject with concise yet reliably complete proofs, while offering glimpses of more advanced methods in each field by one or two deeper results, again with proofs given in full detail. The book can be used as a reliable text for an introductory course, as a graduate text, and for self-study. From the reviews: "This outstanding book cannot be substituted with any other book on the present textbook market. It has every chance of becoming the standard textbook for graph theory." Acta Scientiarum Mathematiciarum "Deep, clear, wonderful. This is a serious book about the heart of graph theory. It has depth and integrity." Persi Diaconis & Ron Graham, SIAM Review "The book has received a very enthusiastic reception, which it amply deserves. A masterly elucidation of modern graph theory." Bulletin of the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications "Succeeds dramatically ... a hell of a good book." MAA Reviews "A highlight of the book is what is by far the best account in print of the Seymour-Robertson theory of graph minors." Mathematika "... like listening to someone explain mathematics." Irk Bitig is a book of omens, written in Old Turkic language. This is an original piece of history, that is considered as one of the key examples and sources of the Turkic Mythology. "Irk" means "omen", and "Bitig" means "book" in Old Turkic language. If you would like to re-live the old times, and read your fortune like the ancient Turks did, just roll the dice, and face your destiny. You can also share the result on social media or send it to another friend. Just use the "Share" menu after rolling the dice. Use the tag #irkbitig to share your omen on Twitter! It is also possible to see your latest results omens via the "History" menu, and all your good/bad stats so far are available through the "Statistics" menu option. In addition, you can also study the omens, see them in their original writing, transliteration, and translation. This application features the whole Irk Bitig in digital form, all the omens are available in Old Turkic script, and the original book images are included for reference. You can view the text in its original font, or in a modern sans-serif typeface variant. I am actively developing this application, and many interesting features such as watchOS and macOS support, Siri integration, and a full dictionary will be added in the future. If you encounter any errors, or if you have feature requests, feel free to contact me anytime! If you would like to learn Old Turkic via studying Irk Bitig, and support development of this app, please consider purchasing the reference section of the omens. First three omens are included free-of-charge. This application is free to download, it is ad-free, and always will be. You can use it without the disturbances of unwanted advertisement. To show your support and appreciation, please consider tipping through the app.
