Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Television Spain at 4.7 against MasterChef's 3.4. Television Spain also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (344 vs 62). MasterChef's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Television Spain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. MasterChef asks for nothing beyond the download.
Television Spain holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Television Spain has 344 ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of MasterChef's written reviews are positive against 35% of Television Spain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MasterChef ships an update every 3 months, Television Spain every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
