Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: Magic Switch at free against The Oscillator's paid. Magic Switch also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3). The Oscillator's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 10 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
