Verdict
The clearest difference is price: QLab Remote at Free against Paradigm Mobile Station's $2.99. QLab Remote also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 13 months). Paradigm Mobile Station's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

QLab Remote is free to download; Paradigm Mobile Station costs $2.99 up front. QLab Remote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Paradigm Mobile Station asks for nothing beyond the download.
QLab Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QLab Remote has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of QLab Remote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Paradigm Mobile Station's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
QLab Remote ships an update every 3 weeks, Paradigm Mobile Station every 13 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
