This is a minimalistic way to keep track of your daily, monthly, and yearly runs. It's for the casual runner who likes to see how far they've run for each type of revolution we go through; around ourselves(daily), the moon revolving around the earth(month-ish), or the earth around the sun (year)! The app includes handy widgets, fun interactions, and the ability to share your runs. This is not the app to fine tune your runs, but it's a place to look at your running holistically. You can set a goal for the month and keep track of that as well! No sign in required.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Running Dashboard at 78% against RunRev's 0%. Running Dashboard also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (17 vs 1). RunRev's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Running Dashboard sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. RunRev asks for nothing beyond the download.
RunRev holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Running Dashboard has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of RunRev's written reviews are positive against 78% of Running Dashboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RunRev ships an update every 6 weeks, Running Dashboard fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
