This app is for users like me who want a quick glance at their daily calories. We have many nutrition apps out there, but not all of them display the complete picture, I wanted to easily be able to see whether or not I was sitting in a surplus or a deficit depending on my current training/nutrition goals. My preferred nutrition app only pulls in exercises, ignoring rest and general active calories, only giving part of the picture. This app simply pulls in the Active, Rest and Dietary calories from Apple Health and displays the combined Burned Calories, Consumed Calories and the difference between them. We optionally also display the 3 macros, Carbs, Fats and Protein, this can be enabled in the settings tab, where you will also need to set your goal values per day. On the history tab, you are able to view a list of your calories over the last 7, 14 and 30 days. --------------- Requirements --------------- This app requires that the device has the Apple Health app installed and access to the following permissions: - Active Energy - Resting Energy - Dietary energy Optionally, for those who also wish to view their Macros within the app, we would need the following permissions: - Carbohydrates - Protein - Total Fats ---------------------- Supported languages ---------------------- English German Spanish Hindi Arabic Portuguese French Russian Japanese Korean Malay Vietnamese Turkish Tamil Italian Polish Ukrainian Romanian Dutch Thai Hungarian Czech Swedish Hebrew Slovak Danish Finnish Norwegian Chinese (Simplified)

See your calorie deficit without the diet drama. Burnie brings your food, movement and real weight trend into one clear daily view. It is built around Indian meals and designed to make calorie tracking useful—not judgemental. LOG FOOD YOUR WAY • Search familiar Indian dishes and practical serving sizes • Take a food photo and review Burnie’s calorie estimate • Describe a meal in everyday language • Scan the barcode on a packaged food • Save meal groups for combinations you eat often Photo and AI results are estimates, not fake precision. You review the suggested foods before they enter your day and can correct details the image could not show, such as recipe, oil or portion size. SEE TODAY AT A GLANCE One bold deficit ring combines your estimated resting burn, permitted activity data and logged food. Tap into the detail whenever you want the maths behind the number. FOLLOW THE WEEK, NOT ONE NOISY DAY Weekly and monthly views help you compare your logged deficit, weigh-ins and intended pace. After enough logged days and weigh-ins, Burnie’s metabolism view helps you compare a formula-based estimate with your real trend. APPLE HEALTH IS OPTIONAL With your permission, Burnie can read supported steps, active energy, resting energy and body weight from Apple Health. You choose each permission, Burnie does not write health data, and manual logging remains available. BUILD A PRACTICE THAT CAN SURVIVE REAL LIFE • Streaks for consistent logging • Meal and weigh-in reminders you control • Day-closing summaries • Weight milestones and history • Burnie Academy guides about Indian food, habits, plateaus and scale noise FREE CORE TRACKING, OPTIONAL MEMBERSHIP Burnie is free to download. Core food logging, deficit tracking, health sync, streaks, widgets and reports remain available on Basic, without advertising SDKs. A 15-day trial lets you explore membership features. Optional monthly or annual membership unlocks buddy sharing and other extras after the trial. Prices and terms are shown in the app before purchase. Export your data, correct account details, or permanently delete your account from within the app. Burnie provides estimates and educational information—not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Speak with a qualified clinician about a health condition, pregnancy, medicines, an eating disorder, or a calorie target that may be unsafe for you. Start with one meal. See today clearly. The clearest difference is update cadence: Burnie at every 5 days against Calorie Diff's fortnightly. Calorie Diff's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
