You are in the woods on the shore of a pond. Occasionally, a duck will fly by, sometimes from left to right, sometimes from right to left, sometimes slowly and sometimes quickly. Either you are a hunter trying to shoot the ducks, or you are a nature conservation officer trying to catch the ducks with a net for research. Try to catch as many ducks as possible to earn points. But listen carefully, because you only have 20 attempts. Fast ducks earn you more points. The more ducks you catch in a row, the more points you receive for the next duck you catch. Note: Ducks you do not attempt to catch will not be counted. The fewer attempts you need to catch a duck, the more points you earn. Note: "Hunting the ducks" is an audio game, which means that the game is played by ear. Headphones or earbuds are required to play this game properly. "Hunting the ducks" integrates Game Center, allowing you to compare scores, track your achievements and play against each other in real time with 2 to 4 players. Don't hesitate to try "Hunting the ducks" for free.
Atomicom

Space is young, dark and scattered. Atoms drift alone, touching nothing, and in all that emptiness not one thing has ever been built. No water. No stone. No star with a planet worth the name. That is what you are here to change. Atomicom is a puzzle game about binding matter together. Atoms come to you one at a time. Place them on the board, let their loose electrons find a partner, and when every electron in a connected group has one, the molecule is finished: it holds, it leaves the board, and the universe keeps a piece of itself that did not exist a moment ago. HOW IT PLAYS • An atom arrives in the glass cylinder below the board. Take it and drop it on any free square. • Atoms bond with the neighbours above, below, left and right of them. Never diagonally. • A green atom has one electron to give, yellow has two, orange three, red four. Blue atoms give nothing at all: they only take up room you were going to need. • Satisfy every electron in a connected group and the molecule forms and goes. • Run out of squares, or let the cylinder overflow, and the mission ends there. 300 MISSIONS The board starts wide and gets smaller: twelve squares across, then ten, then eight, then a six by six where there is nowhere left to be careless. Every mission asks more than the one before it — more molecules, more obstacles in the way, heavier atoms that need more neighbours before they are satisfied — and every time the board shrinks you begin again at something gentle and climb back up. MADE TO BE PLAYED BY EVERYONE Atomicom is made by Tyflos Accessible Software. Accessibility here is not a switch in the settings, it is how the game is built. • Fully playable with VoiceOver, from the first tap to the last molecule. Nothing has to be seen. • Every square tells you its coordinate, what is on it and how many electrons are still free: "A2, red, 3 free bonds". • The sound tells you where. An atom bonding on the left is heard on the left, and the top of the board sounds higher than the bottom, so the board has a shape you can hear. • Everything that happens without you touching it is spoken: an atom arriving, a molecule finished, a move the rules will not allow and why not. • Vibration answers every move, soft for an atom placed and hard for a molecule completed. • Drag if you like, or tap the atom and then the square. Both always work. • Dynamic Type throughout, and Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency are obeyed. • Choose your own background, square borders and cylinder colour, and the game tells you when a colour you picked is too faint to make out. ALSO • Play in seventeen languages. • Made for iPhone and iPad. • Your game saves itself: leave in the middle of a mission and pick it up later. • A table of your best games, kept on your device. FREE, AND WHAT COSTS MONEY • The first ten missions are free, with advertising. • "All levels" is a one-off purchase that opens the three hundred. The advertising stays. • "No ads" is a second one-off purchase that removes the banner. It needs "All levels" first. The universe is not going to assemble itself. Start with two atoms.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Hunting the ducks at none against Atomicom's shown. Hunting the ducks also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Atomicom's advantage is update cadence (daily vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
