Improve your child's articulation and pronunciation! Brought to you by a Speech Language Pathologist and the creator of the SpeakEasy: Home Speech Therapy app which has accelerated early language development for over 100,000 families. With Articulation Teacher, you choose specific sounds to work on with your child. You can work on Early Sounds like D or T, Middle Sounds like G or S, or Late Sounds like L or R. Articulation Teacher includes at home articulation activities to do with your child outside of the app as well as games to play with your child in the app. All suggestions are evidence-based and research-backed. Let's dive into what each sound set includes: --- In-App Games Our articulation games are best played side by side with your child, but if your child is up for it they can play the games on their own as well. For each sound, we have the following games: Splat: say the selected word, and have your child splat it from the choices on the screen! Name It: our simplest game, this is meant for rapidly trying to say different words using digital flash cards. Swipe to the next word and help your child say it out loud. Sound Check: look at and listen to each word, and have your child decide whether the word includes the sound you're working on or not. Space Match: play this out-of-this-world memory game, saying each word as you flip over each card, to work on both articulation and cognitive skills. Paper Games: print a list of articulation practice words and play these games around your house, bringing articulation practice directly into the world around you. --- Home Activities Each sound has 5 activities to try with your child at home. You can read these activities ahead of time, then do them with your child when you can. We recommend trying to do at least one Home Activity each day, and we encourage repetition as much as possible! Home Activities that focus on pronunciation and articulation are the most effective way to spend time with your child to work on speech development. We use videos, books, songs, and the world around you to help integrate articulation practice into every day. --- What Sounds and Letters Are Included? In Articulation Teacher, you can work on the following sounds: Early Sounds: B, P, M, D, T, N, and Vowels Intermediate Sounds: K, G, W, F, S, SH, and Multisyllabic Words Advanced Sounds: L, Final -L, R, R Blends, S Blends, and TH --- More Features Each sound also has an intro video that teaches you how the sound is made, as well as a digital and printable cue card which you can use to help remind your child to pronounce a sound. This cue card fits within the cueing hierarchy explained in the intro video. Cues are an essential part of articulation practice that we integrate directly into our games and activities. Plus, check out developmental milestones to know if your child is on track, and read free learning articles related to articulation development. Articulation Teacher is also meant to be used by SLPs during their sessions as an aid to articulation practice. Every parent wants to give their child the best possible start — but the gap between what developmental research actually says and what reaches families is enormous. ParentScience closes that gap, from your baby's first days through the school years. Built on peer-reviewed science and designed for the reality of tired, busy parents, ParentScience turns decades of child development research into small, specific actions you can take today. Not vague suggestions. Not overwhelming reading lists. Targeted, age-calibrated activities — rooted in the work of researchers like Dr. Patricia Kuhl, the AAP, and WHO developmental frameworks — delivered as daily challenges that fit inside a real life. The app adapts continuously as your child grows: infant tracking gives way to toddler milestones, then preschool connection and social development, then school-age habits and emotional wellbeing. Every feature, every challenge, every nudge is recalibrated to your child's current stage. What's inside: Mind Track — Cognitive & Language Development Six core development areas — Language, Motor, Cognitive, Social, Sleep, and Nutrition — each with a progress ring that builds over time. Daily challenges are calibrated to your child's exact age, drawing from a library of activities grounded in attachment theory, language acquisition research, and sensorimotor development. Your score reflects what you've actually done, not what you intended. Complete challenges to earn XP, level up, and build a streak that keeps momentum going. Body Track — Physical Growth & Wellbeing Track height, weight, and head circumference against developmental norms. Movement, outdoor time, strength, sleep hygiene, nutrition, and gross motor challenges are queued fresh each day — calibrated for whether you have a three-month-old working on neck control or an eight-year-old building physical confidence. Log measurements in seconds. See progress across years. Daily Log — The Full Picture A clean timeline that captures feeds, naps, mood, and diapers for infants — and transitions naturally to meals, activities, milestones, connection time, and school highlights as your child grows. Quick-log actions let you record anything in two taps. The log adapts to your child's age automatically. Reviewing a week of data before a pediatrician visit has never been simpler. Theresa — Your AI Parenting Companion Theresa is available around the clock for the questions that come up at 2am, between appointments, and in the middle of the chaos. Introducing solids, sleep regressions, language development, school readiness, big emotions, allergy timelines, developmental red flags — answered with clinical accuracy and genuine warmth. Theresa always tells you when something warrants a call to your pediatrician. You're never flying blind, and you're never alone. Smart Daily Nudges Instead of passive notifications you swipe away, ParentScience delivers 2–4 timed activity nudges per day — each one personally selected based on your child's current age, your completion history, and which development areas need the most attention right now. A morning language activity. An afternoon outdoor challenge. An evening wind-down that primes good sleep. The nudges evolve as your child does. Why it works: The first 1,000 days are the most neurologically formative period a human will ever experience — but development doesn't stop there. The quality of language exposure, physical activity, nutrition, emotional connection, and play across the first decade of life has measurable effects on cognition, emotional regulation, motor development, and long-term health outcomes. ParentScience is designed to help you act on that science every day, whether your child is three weeks old or seven years old, without needing a degree to understand it. You're already doing more than you think. ParentScience helps you do it with intention. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: ParentScience at daily against Articulation Teacher's every 28 months. ParentScience also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). Articulation Teacher's advantage is ratings volume (211 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
