Loop is the social network for meeting and matchmaking through friends, events, and communities. On Loop, everyone plays matchmaker for their single friends. Singles can also see who their friends know and ask for intros through the app, removing any social friction and making matchmaking easy. In addition to meeting through friends, people on Loop can meet and matchmake through groups centered around events, locations, professional matchmakers, and other communities. Loop groups for coffee shops, gyms, alumni networks, or parties can help maximize the odds that singles connect with someone who they could have met in real life. Loop is free to download and use. Sign up, indicate if you’re single or just there to set up friends, invite your friends, and start suggesting life changing matches! LonelyChat is a messenger with one rule: you can only talk to one person at a time. One friend. One conversation. No group chats, no feed, no inbox full of people waiting on you — just the person you chose, and your full attention on them. WHY ONLY ONE? Most messaging apps keep you juggling dozens of chats and half-listening to all of them. LonelyChat does the opposite. With room for exactly one friend, every message matters and nobody gets a distracted reply. CHOOSING SOMEONE NEW • Long-press anyone on the globe and send a friend request. They decide: accept or decline. • Already have a friend? Then saying yes to someone new means letting your current friend go. It's a real choice — on purpose. • Past conversations stay as read-only history, and you can delete them anytime. • Rather not be asked? Turn off "Allow friend requests" in Settings. • Know them already? Add them directly with their 8-digit code. EVERYTHING A GOOD CHAT NEEDS Photos, videos, stickers and GIFs. React to messages, reply to a specific line, search your history, see when your friend is typing and when they've read you. Kept intentionally simple. TO THE WORLD Step onto a shared pixel globe and hold up a sign for everyone to see. Broadcast a line to the whole solar system, heart someone else's, and notice strangers passing by — a small public square beside your one private chat. TO THE SOLAR Travel to other worlds. When you and your friend are on different planets, messages travel at the speed of light — a note to Mars really does take minutes to arrive. A playful reminder that distance is real. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics. • Block and report anyone, anywhere in the app. • Delete your account and data whenever you want. LonelyChat isn't trying to maximize your screen time. It's a quieter place for the one conversation that matters.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Loop at Free against LonelyChat's $1.00. Loop also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). LonelyChat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
