Even though the same target faces are used in most regions of the globe, some regions have added their own bit of spice to the mix, therefore the growing list of Regional Archery Disciplines enable you to use those specifically for your region. Easily switch Disciplines Each discipline has its own set of rules and target face designs, select your discipline and start scoring. Group your Practice and Competition shoots separately Lock your Sessions to prevent accidental changes To be extra safe you can backup all your shoots to iCloud, save a copy of your score sheet to the file system or share via social media, email and printer. Search function Looking for a particular shoot or number of shoots is easy with the search function, search results can then be used to view statistics of those selected shoots. Search for one or multiple archers. Coaches will appreciate this function as they can monitor the progress of each individual archer they are training and compare their performance to choose the right archers for the next Olympics. Multi-Archer Scoring Create a shoot for up to 4 Archers at a time and record the scores simultaneously, easily. Each archer will have their own statistics and score sheet at the end of the shoot. Enter your score via NUMBER PAD or TARGET FACE Use the Number Pad for quick scoring and the Target Face for VERY ACCURATE placement of arrows. Good for squeezing out that last bit of tweaking. For the 'TARGET FACE' choice, please note there are no animal pictures at this stage, scoring is on concentric rings. Create custom Session/Round types Archery iX comes packaged with most Session/Round Types to get you going quickly. If the Session/Round type is missing - Simply create it. For Coaches - Create multiple archers This App is great for parents or coaches who have multiple student archers under their wing and would like to keep track of their performance. Get comparison statistics to see who is ready for the next big competition or the Olympics Record your Bows and Arrows Add your equipment which can then be attached to the score sheet for later reference. Use your Apple Watch to automatically count the number of arrows shot in a session and view recent history right on your watch. No more manual recording with a tally counter. The iPhone app lets you keep track of your training volume and compare shot timing across sessions. -Uses accelerometer data to detect and record the number of shots and the shot time (time from raise of bow arm to release) -Sessions are saved in Apple Health with heart rate and calories. -A summary of recent sessions is available to view from the watch and a full history can be viewed on the iPhone App. -Charts on the watch show the volume for the last 7 days and the activity view includes a chart of the individual shot times. -Set your weekly volume goal and track progress against it -Compare this month to last month Try before you buy! Instructions for use --------------------- -Wear the watch on the arm you hold your bow with and set this in settings (e.g usually left arm for a right handed archer) -Start an activity. Shoot a few shots and check that it is recording arrows. -Should work with default settings but the sensitivity can be adjusted by swiping to the right in the activity. If shots are not being counted try lowering the G value on the sensitivity page. -Recent activities can be seen in the history view accessed from the button on the first page (This may take a few seconds to load on the first run). Please note: - requires watchOS 10.6 or later. - requires the arm to be raised and steady to start the shot detection. Downhill shots (e.g. on a field course) may not be registered.
