Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Moon Board at Free against Spray's $0.99. Moon Board also leads on ratings volume (240 vs 2) and review sentiment (9% vs 0%). Spray's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 1.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Spray holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moon Board has 240 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Moon Board's written reviews are positive against 0% of Spray's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Moon Board ships an update every 8 days, Spray every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
