Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: iPraises at 71% against Internet & SmartHome+'s 7%. Internet & SmartHome+'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Internet & SmartHome+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of iPraises's written reviews are positive against 7% of Internet & SmartHome+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iPraises ships an update every 6 weeks, Internet & SmartHome+ weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
