Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Home Tee Hero at 1.7K against CenteGolf's 1. Home Tee Hero also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). CenteGolf's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CenteGolf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home Tee Hero has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
CenteGolf ships an update every 3 months, Home Tee Hero every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
