Talk the way your brain works. Ums, run-ons, no wait, Thursday. Sokira cleans it up and puts it on your day. Other apps turn your voice into text. Sokira turns it into a plan. Phone locked? Say "Hey Siri, add mow the lawn at 6 PM in Sokira" or "Hey Siri, add oat milk to The List in Sokira." Needs iOS 27 or later and Apple Intelligence. You know what you need to do. Starting is the hard part. Sokira is a voice-first, ADHD-friendly companion for your day. Don't type, don't organize, don't set up a system. Just talk. "I have to write my essay and I don't know where to start." Sokira gets it, helps you find one small first step, and offers to stay with you while you begin. NO FORMS, NO FIDDLING Say "dentist Thursday at one, remind me at noon" and it's on Thursday with the nudge set. ALARMS THAT REALLY RING Say "set an alarm for 7 AM" and Sokira sets a real one that rings even on silent. Needs iOS 26 or later. On earlier versions, you can get a reminder instead. ONE MAIN THING, NOT FIFTY Sokira helps you pick one main thing a day, and the rest waits quietly underneath. BIG TASKS BECOME SMALL STEPS "Clean the house before people come over" turns into a few doable steps. Pick the ones that help, skip the rest, or add your own. Stuck before step one? Say "help me get started on the taxes" and your companion gives you one small first step, out loud. If the taxes are already one of your tasks, tap Show me more ways for a few more on screen. A BODY DOUBLE IN YOUR POCKET Start a focus timer and your AI companion stays with you while you work. A calm sand hourglass drains as time runs down. A gentle alert tells you when time is up, even if your phone locks. A JOURNAL WITH A LOCK Say it or type it. Sokira adds punctuation and keeps your own words. Find any entry by search, tag or date. A Face ID or Touch ID lock is on from the start, and you can add a 4-digit code. Sokira's AI reads your entries to understand you and keeps a short note on your iPhone. THE LIST AND YOUR GOALS The List holds someday things, with no dates and no nagging, until you make one a task. Goals hold the reason behind your tasks. FOUR COMPANIONS, FOUR VOICES Mae is steady, Jules is your hype squad, Coach is direct, Butler is at your service. Switch anytime. IT GETS TO KNOW YOU Sokira remembers what you're navigating and how you like to be talked to. That memory is saved on your iPhone, and you can see it, change it, or clear it. FAMILY, WITHOUT SURVEILLANCE Share only the tasks you choose. Nobody sees anything you didn't share. No streaks. No guilt. No productivity scores. Just a calm companion that helps you start. Sokira is free for the first week, then $14.99/month or $99/year. A companion, not a clinician: Sokira doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it's not a substitute for professional care. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Sokira at 5.0 against Brain Dump's 4.3. Sokira also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). Brain Dump's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings
