Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Comet at 4.7 against Captioo's 2.3. Comet also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 25%) and ratings volume (7.8K vs 4). Captioo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 18.0). On price there is nothing between them.

Comet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comet has 7.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Captioo's written reviews are positive against 65% of Comet's.
