Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bully Max at 71% against PetLabCo.'s 32%. Bully Max also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). PetLabCo.'s advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 15) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
PetLabCo. holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PetLabCo. has 1.1K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Bully Max's written reviews are positive against 32% of PetLabCo.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
