CycleJames is a focused, single-purpose indoor cycling app for structured power-based training on FTMS-compatible smart trainers. No subscription, ever. Your data never leaves your iPhone. Connect your trainer over Bluetooth. Pick a workout. The app writes target watts to the trainer in real time so resistance follows the plan automatically, and no head unit required. Prefer to ride by feel? Switch to Free Ride and your trainer's own gears set the resistance, just like riding outdoors - while CycleJames still records every watt. WHAT YOU GET • 97 built-in workouts covering VO2max, threshold, sweet spot, endurance, recovery, sprint and tempo sessions — from 15-minute easy spins to 6-hour century-prep epics. • Live target power streaming over Bluetooth (FTMS protocol) — your trainer ets resistance for you. • Free Ride mode — drop ERG control and let your smart bike's gears drive the resistance; your power is still recorded. • Heart-rate display from any standard Bluetooth heart-rate monitor. • Adjust intensity mid-ride: scale the whole workout up or down in 5W steps, fine-tune the active interval, skip ahead, jump to any upcoming interval, or insert a custom interval on the fly. • Workout builder — design your own steady or ramp intervals and save them. • Export rides to Strava and Garmin Connect via the iOS share sheet (TCX). • Local ride history with average power, peak power, normalized power, intensity factor, and TSS for every session. • Calendar view of your training week and month. PRIVACY CycleJames keeps everything on your device. No accounts. No cloud. No analytics. No tracking. No subscription. Uninstall the app and your data goes with it. COMPATIBLE TRAINERS Any smart trainer that supports the standard FTMS Bluetooth profile, which includes most modern trainers from Wahoo, Tacx, Wattbike, Saris, Elite, JetBlack, and others. REQUIREMENTS iPhone running iOS 17 or later, plus an FTMS-compatible Bluetooth smart trainer. A Bluetooth heart-rate strap is optional. DISCLAIMER CycleJames is a fitness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Consult a qualified physician before starting any new training programme, and seek a doctor's advice before making any decisions related to your health. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness or other symptoms during a workout.
