Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TMU DRM at 5.0 against MangaxComic's 4.4. MangaxComic's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 9%) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TMU DRM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MangaxComic has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MangaxComic's written reviews are positive against 9% of TMU DRM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MangaxComic ships an update every 3 months, TMU DRM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
