Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: CoverMotion at every 2 days against Kaiber's every 3 weeks. CoverMotion also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Kaiber's advantage is ratings volume (478 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Kaiber sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and CoverMotion sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CoverMotion holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaiber has 478 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Kaiber ships an update every 3 weeks, CoverMotion every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
