Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CC Short at 4.7 against PureShort's 1.4. CC Short also leads on review sentiment (24% vs 4%) and ratings volume (931 vs 24). PureShort's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
