X vs Horizon Training

X-ray Scattering Simulator is a mobile application tool for demonstrating radiation scattering virtually. The demonstrated data is based on real life measurements in a hospital environment. The application is based on Augmented Reality technology (AR) that allows the user to add virtual 3D elements to the real-world environment through the camera of the mobile device. The objects in this application are the patient, X-ray machine and a color map depicting the radiation scattering. The purpose of this application is to demonstrate how the radiation generated during the X-ray imaging scatters to the environment.

Horizon X-ray Training Simulator is an interactive learning application designed to help users understand the structure and operation of the Horizon X-ray system through an immersive 3D environment. The application provides a guided training experience where users can explore system components, learn operational procedures, and assess their understanding through knowledge quizzes. Interactive 3D System Simulation Navigate a realistic 3D environment representing the Horizon X-ray system setup. Rotate the room and explore major components such as the detector, generator, tube stand, and patient table to understand their placement and functionality. System Component Learning Learn about the different components of the X-ray system and how they contribute to the imaging process. The app provides clear explanations that help users build foundational knowledge of radiography equipment. Procedure Training Watch guided animations demonstrating system procedures and workflows. These visual demonstrations help users understand how different parts of the system operate during imaging procedures. Knowledge Quiz Reinforce learning through interactive quizzes that test your understanding of system components and procedures. The quiz helps users verify their knowledge after exploring the training modules. Educational Learning Materials Access supporting learning resources that provide additional information about the Horizon X-ray system and its operation. Training Purpose This application is designed as a training and educational simulator for learning the structure and functionality of the Horizon X-ray system in an engaging and interactive way.
