Communication is based on the ISO/IEC 14443‑B NFC standard, providing reliable and standards‑compliant proximity data exchange. The app is designed exclusively for use with EllipsGA access controllers, enabling controlled, hardware‑bound authentication workflows. Key material is generated internally using a deterministic tick‑based expansion method, which is functional but not compliant with ISO/IEC 18031 (Random bit generation). For full standards compliance, deployment environments should replace this with a cryptographically secure random number generator. The application is supported on iPhone XS and newer models, leveraging Apple’s NFC hardware for consistent performance.
