NO MONEY NEEDED! Knot is a barter app built for people who'd rather trade than buy. Swipe through items people near you are offering. Like something? The owner sees your listings and can like something back. When both of you are into the swap, it's a match. No money changes hands. Ever. Knot is community-owned and runs entirely on voluntary donations. We have no investors, don't serve ads, and absolutely do not sell your data.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: KnotSwap at none against Pizzamas's shown. KnotSwap also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Pizzamas's advantage is ratings volume (738 vs 76) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Pizzamas holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pizzamas has 738 ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Pizzamas's written reviews are positive against 96% of KnotSwap's.
Pizzamas ships an update every 6 weeks, KnotSwap every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
