Song request app for DJs, parties and events. Your guests scan a QR code and request songs from their own phone. No app to install, no account to create. Trusted by more than 220,000 users worldwide. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create an event and share its QR code or link. 2. Guests scan, search and request songs. They can vote on each other's requests, so the most popular songs rise to the top. 3. You accept or decline. Accepted songs go straight into your Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL or SoundCloud playlist, or into your DJ software. NO APP OR SIGNUP FOR GUESTS Guests request from the browser on their phone. Scanning the QR code is all it takes, so even the least technical guests request in seconds. WORKS WITH YOUR MUSIC LIBRARY Guests search Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, SoundCloud or your own repertoire. Accepted song requests can be automatically added to your playlist or queue, so you never copy a song by hand. STRAIGHT INTO YOUR DJ SOFTWARE Requests you accept land in a live playlist that Serato DJ, Rekordbox, VirtualDJ, Traktor, djay and other DJ software can stream. No more typing song names during your set. ONLY SONGS YOU CAN ACTUALLY PLAY Limit song requests to your own repertoire or library. Great for bands, karaoke hosts and DJs with a fixed catalog. EARN TIPS ON REQUESTS Let guests add a tip to their song request. Payouts go directly to your bank account through Stripe. Also handy for fundraisers. MESSAGES AND DEDICATIONS Guests can add a personal message to a song request. Perfect for shoutouts, dedications and birthdays. QR CODES AND POSTERS Every event gets its own QR code and link, plus one universal QR code you can print once and reuse at every event. Pick a ready made poster design or design your own poster and export it as a print ready PDF. MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOUR OWN APP Create your own themes, show your logo everywhere and greet guests with custom messages. To your guests, Rekwest looks like your own branded app. OPTIONAL KIOSK MODE Turn a tablet into a request kiosk at your event. Kiosk mode ensures guests can easily request songs from a shared device. GROW YOUR BUSINESS Set up a professional profile with your contact details and a booking button. Send automatic emails to attendees after the event to win new bookings. See what keeps your crowd engaged with detailed event analytics. AND MORE Embed the song request form on your own website, plan recurring events in your agenda, run location based events, and use Rekwest in many languages on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web. BUILT FOR Wedding DJs, mobile DJs, club DJs, pubs, bars and cafés, event venues, musicians and bands, karaoke nights, house parties and radio stations. REQ is a request management tool for DJs playing live. Instead of people shouting at the booth mid-mix, your crowd scans a QR code you display and sends a request from a web page. Nothing to install on their side, no account. It lands on your phone, and you handle it from one screen, in the two seconds you get between two mixes. WHAT A REQUEST LOOKS LIKE The track title, the artist when it was typed in, and the amount attached to it, read-only. If the person left a first name, you see it. If they already sent one tonight, the card tells you it is their second, or their third. They can also attach one short word, up to 140 characters. One word, not a conversation: there is no thread, no reply box on their side, and it is gone with the night. THREE BUTTONS Pass, and the request is closed. Accept, and the track drops into your "to play" queue right under the inbox. Or accept and charge nothing at all: the track still joins your queue, the authorization on the card is released, and the person is told you are covering it. Nothing enters your set without your yes. The amount is only authorized when the request is sent: accepting collects it, passing releases the authorization. That call is made on our servers, never inside the app. A countdown on each card shows how long you have left to decide. It turns red under five minutes. YOU ANSWER WITHOUT A KEYBOARD After you decide, a sheet opens with phrases you wrote at home, at your own pace. One tap sends one. Write "{prenom}" in a phrase and it is replaced by the person's first name — or it disappears cleanly if they did not leave one. You can also tap "no reply" and move on. Your answer appears within seconds on the page they kept open. That page is the only channel back to them, and it is the whole point: a no is no longer a silence. YOU STAY IN CONTROL OF WHAT YOU RECEIVE Anything the crowd writes goes through a term filter before it ever reaches you. If something gets through anyway, one tap reports it: the word leaves your inbox and does not come back. And a single switch in Settings turns the whole thing off — the field stops being offered to the crowd entirely. YOU DON'T MISS ONE A push notification hits your phone on every incoming request, with the track, the artist and the amount. The inbox also refreshes itself every 10 seconds and vibrates when something new lands. YOUR QR, READY FOR THE BOOTH A full-screen QR with a headline sized to be read from two metres away, in the dark, and a language switch for the room that does not change the language of your app. The link is copyable in one tap. The app also renders twelve ready-made visuals: three print formats and three social formats, each in French and in English. WHAT YOU KEEP TRACK OF A history of everything you decided on. And three figures on their own screen: today, this month, all time, shown net of the 20% REQ keeps on an accepted request. SET UP ONCE Sign in with your email and a one-time code. No password. Set your DJ name, your Instagram handle, and the minimum amount a request has to carry, between 3 and 200 euros. Payouts run through Stripe: the app opens Stripe's own pages in your browser. No banking form inside the app. Until payouts are active, the QR stays locked. You never spend a cent inside this app, and nothing is sold in it. Amounts are read-only, everywhere. Full English and French, picked up from your phone at first launch, switchable in Settings. REQ is in beta. Brought to you by VYBZ & DirtyLab.
