Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Koofr Vault at none against Icedrive's 6. Koofr Vault also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Icedrive's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icedrive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Koofr Vault asks for nothing beyond the download.
Koofr Vault holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Icedrive has 46 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Koofr Vault's written reviews are positive against 69% of Icedrive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Koofr Vault ships an update every 6 weeks, Icedrive every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
