Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: HitProxy at 3.2 against Arm's 1.0. HitProxy also leads on ratings volume (171 vs 1). Arm's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
HitProxy holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HitProxy has 171 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Arm's written reviews are positive against 45% of HitProxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Arm ships an update weekly, HitProxy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
